Commissioner Tricia Duffy has been a resident of Charlotte County since 1979. She is a graduate of Seton Hall University with a B.A. in Communications and M.S. in Health Care Administration from the College of St. Francis.
Most of her career has been in health care management and she recently served as an Account Executive with Comcast for 6 years.
Appointed as a commissioner by Governor Jeb Bush in October 2006 to fill an unexpired term for two years, she was elected Vice-Chairman in December 2006.
She serves on the following committees:
- Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council, as an Alternate
- Council on Aging
- Enterprise Charlotte
- Children’s Services Council
- Metropolitan Planning Organization, as an Alternate
- Tourist Development Council
- Southwest Florida Health Planning Council
- Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
- Charlotte Local Education Foundation
- Southwest Florida Juvenile Justice Council
- Veteran’s Appreciation Week Council
She and her husband Barney have three grown children; Casey, Ryan and Sean.
