Project Status Update

Lionheart Water Control Structure

John DeGiovine, Project Manager

The design of this structure is consistent with Master Stormwater Management Plan requirements. Replacement of this structure is part of the overall plan to improve the drainage flow through the canal system, up to the 100-year storm event. The work is located at Lionheart Waterway and Forrest Nelson Boulevard, at Mile Post 2.87.

Future dates and durations associated with this project are approximations and are dependent on funding, permitting, weather, and contractor availability. Permitting for some projects, depending on their complexity, can take years to obtain.
