Hickory Bluff Cemetery
Located a few hundred feet north of Harborview Road on Rowland Drive, near Eagle Lakes Estates, this cemetery originated in the late 1800's and was, historically, an African-American cemetery. People were buried in unmarked graves until the 1950's, leaving no record of their deaths. Around the turn of the century, the cemetery became a family plot for the Roberts family. There have been no recent burials there. Records indicate that Charlotte County provided occasional maintenance of Hickory Bluff Cemetery in the 1930's and 1940's.
