Paint Your Heart Out Charlotte County!

There are many low-income families, seniors and disabled residents of Charlotte County who work hard to attain home ownership but due to circumstances are unable to care for the maintenance of their homes. We are here to help. Realizing that a large number of the homes in the Neighborhood Redevelopment Area were occupied by resident who were in need of a program to help with beautification and maintenance of their homes, Paint Your Heart Out Charlotte County was established in 2006 as a project of our Neighborhood Revitalization program. Initially starting with the painting of two homes annually, the program has doubled to painting and landscaping four homes annually. In addition a volunteer case manager works with each selected homeowner to provide information on available community resources which will enhance the quality of life for that individual or family. In 2008 the Family Services Center assumed responsibility for the nationally recognized program and is committed to growing the number of residents we are able to help annually through community involvement and private sponsorships.
