Grove City

Grove City is the oldest community west of the Myakka River, platted in 1886. Grove City is bound by Buck Creek, Oyster Creek, and Lemon Bay and is accessible via the Lemon Bay/Myakka Trail (Placida Road /CR 775).  You may also gain entrance to this beautiful community via SR 776 by traveling south on San Casa Dr.

Grove City’s residential communities and commercial establishments are surrounded by approximately 367 acres of park and preservation land.  The community is also home to an array of housing styles and types as well as industrial lands and public facilities.  Grove City combines the “old” with the “new” and there are many development and community opportunities for those wishing to make Grove City their home.

A small town atmosphere and lifestyle all in close proximity to the surrounding communities of Boca Grande and Englewood with the beauty of the waters of Charlotte County either in ones backyard or right across the Lemon Bay/Myakka Trail.

Every property in Charlotte County, including Grove City, is defined by the development parameters of the property’s FUTURE LAND USE MAP designation and the ZONING designation.  Both designations play a vital role in the determination of how a property may be developed and utilized.
